Adobe Email Security Update

Posted by Ian Campbell on Wednesday, March 30, 2016

Dear WebsiteWise Customers,

In order to better protect your email communications, Adobe have made some changes to the way you can access your email inbox in browser or in an email client. Adobe have now created a dedicated secure domain for email which they plan to restrict to use only SSL/TLS encryption for both incoming and outgoing communication. The new domain will be used to access your email from browser and email client as well.

Starting on April 15, you will no longer be able to continue using the existing email client settings.  Please update your email clients according to the instructions below:

Inbound (Receiving emails)

  • Inbound
  • Inbound Server Type: IMAPS (993) / POP (995)
  • User Name:
  • Connection Security: SSL/TLS
  • Authentication Method: Normal Password

Outbound (Sending emails)

  • Outbound Server:
  • Outbound Server Type: SMTPS (465)
  • User Name:
  • Connection Security: SSL/TLS
  • Authentication Method: Normal Password

You will also be required to use for accessing your mailbox using a web browser. Please note that site administrators will still be able to use the Admin Console and access their mailbox through Single Sign On as before.

The current mailbox settings will continue to work until April 15, 2016. After this date, you will not be able to send or receive messages using your email client, unless you change your connection settings. Furthermore, will be automatically redirected to the from then on.

We also strongly advise you to change your email password, by logging into webmail (using and browsing to Settings -> Password. There you will be able to set a new password for accessing your mailbox.

WSW Support

As you can appreciate, we have hundreds of clients so can't call each individually to talk them through these updates, so to help manage the change over, please go through the above steps yourself. If of course you get stuck, give us a call & we'll assist in any way we can.

Regards, Ian

Clean web design for Calder Property Services

Posted by Kym Campbell on Monday, March 21, 2016

A new responsive paralax site has just gone live for Calder Property Services. The owners were keen to update their older website and regain control from their web developer, who had become unresponsive. The team asked us to investigate to confirm they had control of their domain and wished to move forward in partnership with a developer committed to maintaining the success of their site. WSW developed the site with scrolling paralax web design and the latest web app functionality to give the site a modern look to showcase their commercial cleaning services and allow easy site updates by the Calder team.

Website Tips 101 - Take your website or online store with you

Posted by Kym Campbell on Thursday, March 17, 2016

So your new responsive website or online store has just gone live & plays well with mobile tablets and devices. Did you know you can save it to your iPhone or iPad home screen for quick and easy access when you're on the go? If you have a WSW website or online store, we've already created your website Favicon/ App icon for you & it will automatically display. If not, you'll have to create one yourself using a favicon generator tool. When that's done you're ready to follow the next steps.

17. How to save your website to a mobile device

To save your website or online store to your home screen, simply browse to the website home page or product page (here I'm using WSW as an example) on your iPad or iPhone.

Click the    icon on the browser and then select 'Add to Home Screen.'

Your site will then appear on your device's home screen or menu page. These steps can be repeated to save the site to other devices as well. Hope this helps, it's also a great tip to share with your customers, allowing them to access your products and special offers anywhere, anytime.
